It’s that time of the year when everything gets a little bit sparkly and silly. Christmas is just around the corner. I’ve made it my very own Christmas tradition here at Snatch Towers to indulge in festive treats using that most under-rated of all the bedroom accessories. The Nipple Pastie. Last year I had Christmas puds and this year courtesy of the lovely people at Lovehoney I have Jingle Bells!
If you aren’t aware of what a pastie is it’s a small disc used to cover the nipple in burlesque or exotic dancing. Usually sparkly or adorned in some way to tie in with the show. My Lovehoney Jingle Bell Pasties come in a little transparent bag which is perfect for keeping them nice in the drawer.
Rich Glittery Red
Measuring 2.5 inches across the Lovehoney Jingle Bell Pasties are a good size, I have large nipples and they covered them with no problem. The main disc of the pasties is red in colour, a deep rich red. Not a bright cheap looking one.
At the peak of the pastie is a bright green bow. The contrast between the green satin ribbon and the red glitter instantly conjuring up festive thoughts and images. The final flourish of festive fun is the addition of two little gold bells which actually ring.
The Lovehoney Jingle Bell Pasties are pretty and whilst they could easily be used for burlesque style Christmas shows they are just as at home in the bedroom at home for a personal Christmas strip tease.
Applying the Lovehoney Jingle Bell Pasties is super easy, on the back is a sliced piece of backing paper, tear it off gently to expose the sticky side. Don’t disregard the backing paper though. You can reapply it after you remove them to prolong the life of your pasties.
Making sure the pastie is the correct way up and gently apply it over your nipple. I find the best way to do this is to line the edge of the pastie up with the top of my nipple and smooth it down to cover them.
A problem I’ve had in the past with adorned pasties is the weight can pull them off. And if I’m honest I was fully expecting this with the Lovehoney Jingle Bell Pasties so gave them a nice little firm press once they were stuck on. This was entirely unnecessary as they never moved at all. However, when it came to remove them, I found it very difficult to peel them off.
The sticky had really grabbed my skin and I had to kind of prise the pastie off my nipple. To say it was painful is an understatement.
I found the Lovehoney Jingle Bell Pasties were really good in terms of stay-put-ability for several wears which was great. If they start to lose their stick you can always use double sided body tape to prolong their life.
One of the things I loved about the Lovehoney Jingle Bell Pasties was the way the bells jingled as I moved. Shaking my tatas and hearing the little bells ringing is seriously sexy stuff. Its almost impossible not to get into a burlesque-ish vibe. I found teaming them with some of the new Lovehoney Plus Size Lingerie worked great. For example, the Boudoir Belle Cherry Push Up Basque. The two complemented each other very well.
My only negative thought about the Lovehoney Jingle Bell Pasties was the pain it took in removing them after the first wear. I was sore for a couple of days. Maybe there is a technique I’m unaware of. If you know please feel free to leave it in the comments.
You can buy these and other pasties from Lovehoney for under £10.
