I’m often found extolling the virtues of the Satisfyer brand of clitoral stimulators. They are one of my favourite brands and for me personally one of the quickest routes to the most intense clitoral orgasms I’ve felt.
I became addicted to the Satisfyer sensation upon release of the Satisfyer Pro 2 so when Satisfyer sent me the Next Generation variant of my perineal favourite I really wasn’t sure it could be improved upon.
Why I Love Satisfyer
If you haven’t tried the Satisfyer Pro 2 let me tell you why it’s wonderful. Instead of vibration the Satisfyer Pro 2 uses a suction type of sensation. The pulses of air produced by the Satisfyer Pro 2 create a kind of buffering suction over my clit.
The centrepiece of the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is the silicone nozzle which is situated at the top of the toy. To look at, the Satisfyer Pro 2 looks a little bit like an ear thermometer, strangely. Or possibly a short nozzle hairdryer. But not at all like a sex toy.
The colour of the ABS handle is the classic Satisfyer Rose Gold and this combined with the white of the nozzle and buttons make it a nice simple look. Being made of silicone and ABS the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is totally body-safe and you can use it without fear of any nasty reactions.
The Benefits of Lube
One thing I’ve found makes an epic difference to using the Satisfyer Pro 2 is a slick of lube across my clit. The liquid seems to make the pulses more comfortable and less intense. This sounds like the opposite of what you want but the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is a strong toy! Sometimes the sensation can be too much especially at first. Lube seems to act as a buffer for this and helps to make a seal around your clit. Don’t forget to use water based lube though, silicone lube will damage the silicone nozzle.
So, what is the difference between my beloved Satisfyer Pro 2 and the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation? Primarily I believe the most noticeable difference is in the controls. The original Satisfyer Pro 2 had just one button to scroll through the functions. This made it difficult to control that crazy intensity. The Next Generation Satisfyer Pro 2 has a +/- button meaning you can go back a notch if things get too much.
The Importance of Control
This is an extremely welcome addition and makes the experience of playing with the Satisfyer Pro 2 New Generation much smoother. Another difference I noticed was the Next Generation model is quieter. It’s a slight difference but there is less bassy chugging with the newer model. I honestly can’t say the noise level ever worried me or stopped me from using the Satisfyer Pro 2. But I’m not going to complain about it being quieter.
As with all clitoral suction toys the noise level is higher when the toy is away from the body. Once the nozzle is around your clit it acts as a muffler for the sound. Bare this in mind when you first turn the Satisfyer Pro 2 on.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is USB rechargeable, just like the original. One charge lasts a good long time. I use the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation a lot and I only recharge it maybe once a month.
Using the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation
Using the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is not dissimilar to its predecessor. For me I found being able to move between the 11 settings made the experience more seamless. I could start on lower settings and enjoy the gentle pulsing against my clit. I like to start small to make the play last longer. As my clit begins to throb I can go up and down through the settings to edge myself as long as I can.
It’s worth mentioning that this really isn’t long. The intensity of the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is greater than the original model. I could fly straight to top setting on the original model whereas with the Next Generation I need to climb to it. But when I cum… oh holy fuck it’s so worth it.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is waterproof just like the original meaning you can take it into the bath for additional fun. The water acts as a great diffuser for the air pulses and creates a different sensation.
Some people might argue that the differences between the original Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation and the original Satisfyer Pro 2 are very slight. And it’s true they are. However, the original was pretty damn good to start with. As the old saying goes if it isn’t broke don’t fix it.
