So less than a month to Eroticon!! I’ve been counting this down since I returned from last years! I’m so very excited to be planning my weekend with all you lovely bloggers and writers! Time to do my Eroticon 2018 Meet & Greet!
Eroticon is all about the people, the amazing welcoming vibe makes it feel like you’re with family from the minute it kicks off. It’s such a great mix of talented people and I spent most of last year fairly star struck. Yes I will definitely be having fan girl moments.
Last year’s speakers were amazing and I left floating on a cloud of inspiration and enthusiasm. It kicked my game up a gear and I feel like I owe Eroticon a lot, it was in no small way responsible for my growth in confidence.
This year is even more exciting for me, firstly I’m going to be one of your Eroticon Ambassadors! I’m so thrilled to have been asked to perform this role. I know huge events like this can be anxiety inducing. So if you’re feeling overwhelmed or need any help or info please just give me a shout! I’m hard to miss!
Secondly I’ve had my submission for the Eroticon anthology accepted. Last year I so wanted to submit and if I’m honest was too scared to. I ummed and ahhed this year but I’m glad I did it. I can’t wait to read all your submissions!
So for those who don’t know me here is my Eroticon 2018 Meet & Greet. I can’t wait to meet you all in person!
NAME (and Twitter if you have one)
Debs or Candy whichever you prefer.
What are you most looking forward to about Eroticon 2018?
For me this is a question of many answers. I got so much out of Eroticon 2017. I can’t wait to see everyone, lots of faces old and new. The community is so much fun and being around like-minded people feels so good.
I love the learning aspect of Eroticon. Lots of people were shocked how many workshops and talks I attended last year. But I’m gonna make the most of the opportunity to learn from the amazing folk doing the talks. I’ve already worked out my schedule.
Checking out stuff! At last year’s Eroticon I got my first glimpse of Doxy 3 and the Queen Bee. This was exciting AF. I love checking out the Sponsors stalls.
I’m extremely excited about attending Annabelle Knight’s talk. I’ve been such a huge fan of hers for so long. This year I’ve really struggled choosing between sessions. It’s been hard people! What are you doing to us with all this good stuff!!
We are creating a play list of songs for the Friday Night Meet and Greet. Nominate one song that you would like us to add to the play list and tell us why you picked that song
Wow this is a hard one. I’m gonna opt for my favourite song at the minute.
Fifth Harmony – That’s My Girl
It just sums up the way I feel about my girls, both the ones I gave birth to and the ones I love as friends and family. All my girls. I’m very lucky to be surrounded by amazing, strong, dynamic women that I adore.
What’s the first career you dreamed of having as a kid?
I wanted to be a journalist or a writer. A teacher at school told me that being a writer was a “pie in the sky job, similar to saying you want to be an astronaut”
I loved English and couldn’t think of a better way to pass time than by writing. I wish I’d stood my ground but instead I changed my goal to teacher instead. And then when my parents wouldn’t allow me to go to university I pretty much abandoned all goals career wise for a long time. Never give up on your dreams people!
Weirdest place you’ve ever gotten up to mischief (define ‘mischief’ however you like…)
Oh god so many. My favourite was in the back of the cinema simply because it was the ballsiest. And because it’s a classic. I can’t remember seeing much of the film. I think we were fucking the whole time. Thank fuck for modern cinema seats lol.
Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself

I have never been in the back of a police car.
