G Spot vibes are one of my favourite types of internal vibrator. I get so much more from the curved shaft of a G spot vibe so when Forbidden Pleasures sent me the Entice Mae G Spot vibe I had high hopes.

The Entice Mae arrived in a dark box sporting a product image on the front. It’s manufactured by a company called California Exotic Novelties. My favourite type of G Spot Vibe is one with a deep curve on the shaft. In fact, this is something which features highly in all my favourite internal toys.

Opening the Entice Mae G Spot Vibe my first impression are it’s smaller than I imagined. This is mainly due to the curve. When I stretched the Entice Mae out to measure it the actual length is 6 inches, pretty much all of this is insertable. The Entice Mae is flexible, allowing the shaft to move to your body.

Changing Girth

The shape of the Entice Mae G Spot Vibrator is unusual in that the girth changes wildly as you travel up the shaft. At the widest point (the bottom) the Entice Mae is just over 5 inches in circumference. This is whopping. At the narrowest point its just over 3 inches. This is quite a difference.

The bend in the shaft of the Entice Mae is not far off a 90-degree angle. It’s very pronounced starting 3 inches up the shaft. The tip of the Entice Mae G Spot Vibe is pretty much the whole bent area of the shaft. It has an unusual floral bud type pattern on the tip. I think this is purely for decoration as there isn’t enough discernible texture for it to create sensation.

Soft Silicone

The Entice Mae G Spot Vibe is made of silicone with a plastic end cap. The silicone is bright purple in colour, which is standard for a sex toy. The silicone is soft, matt and grabby. Looking closely at the shaft there appears to be a seam or line which runs up either side of the shaft. This can be felt under my fingers when touching the Entice Mae.

Being silicone, the Entice Mae is body safe which is great and non-porous. But it also means you need to be careful with your lube choices. Only use water-based lube with the Entice Mae as anything else will damage the surface.

Weak Vibrations

The Entice Mae G Spot Vibe is battery operated. The plastic end cap unscrews to expose the battery compartment. You’ll need a couple of AAA batteries as they aren’t included. The controls for the Entice Mae are situated on the front of the shaft. This comes in the form of two buttons, a power button and a pattern button.

To switch the Entice Mae on and off you simply press the power button. The pattern button scrolls through the eight different settings. Three of these are steady speeds and five are pulse patterns. The vibrations from the Entice Mae G Spot Vibe are not great.

Even for a battery-operated vibrator they’re weak. I did a little comparison with the Rocks Off Touch of Velvet bullet which I’m currently reviewing. This runs off a single AAA battery but is markedly stronger than the Entice Mae which runs on two AAA. I even asked my partner for his opinion in case it was just me, he agreed straight away. The motor must just be weaker. Which is a shame.

Great Shape

When using the Entice Mae G Spot Vibe I loved the shape. The curve in the shaft was great at delivering the tip right to my G Spot. Despite the thin girth at the tip the nice wide shaft at the base gave me a nice stretch. There was no denying the Entice Mae hits my G Spot nicely. The problem comes within the vibrations. If they feel weak externally they’re even worse internally.

Even on the highest setting I found the vibrations were buzzy and shallow, bordering on irritating at times. I opted to turn them off and just enjoy the penetrative sensations. I couldn’t even use the Entice Mae clitorally due to the weakness of the vibes.

In Summary

The Entice Mae G Spot Vibe is waterproof which is great should you want to take it into the bath or shower and means cleaning it is much easier. One thing that did slightly amuse me was the box claimed the Entice Mae has an “Auto Off Button”. What exactly is that? It has an off button which automatically shuts the product off when you press it. I’m not sure why this is worthy of mentioning on the box like it’s a feature.

For me the Entice Mae G Spot Vibe wasn’t a hit. Despite loving the shape, the vibrations were so bad, This really effected my enjoyment of the Entice Mae. It needs a stronger motor as the current one is situated in the tip of the shaft and there is still zero rumble.

Forbidden Pleasures sell the Entice Mae G Spot Vibe for £22.00 currently reduced from £26.99.
