I really love brightly coloured toys, they are simply more attractive to me. When Peepshow Toys sent me the Aria Luminance from Blush I literally fell in love with the bright colours on this eye catching little vibe.

The packaging for the Aria Luminance was simple, and to be fair it was never going to outshine to Aria Luminance itself. The brightly coloured Aria logo looks modern and fresh, the whole look of the Aria Luminance is one of vitality.

Battery Powered

Opening the Aria Luminance, I was stunned to realise it was a battery powered vibrator. Given the high end look I’d just assumed it was going to be rechargeable. I felt my heart drop slightly as I knew this was going to impact the Aria Luminance’s performance.

Looking at the Aria Luminance it’s first impression in one of simplicity. The shaft is basic with a very slight wave to it. Measuring just 6 inches in total length the Aria Luminance is not particularly big. The insertable length is just 4.5 inches and this is also the circumference at the widest point. If you’re a size queen the Aria Luminance is not for you.

Gorgeous Purple Silicone

The shaft of the Luminance is made of a gorgeous bright purple silicone. The colour is so vibrant and appeals to me greatly. At the bottom of the shaft is a silver coloured base with a deeply delicious pop of lime green in the silicone trim. Here is where the control sits.

The contrast of the silver, bright purple and acid lime makes for a truly mouth-watering combination. The Aria Luminance looks clean, bright and very modern. The base is also the battery cover. Unscrewing the base exposes the battery compartment. The Aria Luminance takes 2 AAA batteries, these aren’t included. They slide up into the body of the Aria Luminance and the cap easily screws back into place.

Silky Soft Satin-Like Texture

One of the instantly noticeable things aside from the colour of the Aria Luminance is the silky soft silicone texture. There is little grab to the silicone and it doesn’t collect hair and fluff. It feels almost like stroking satin, a very sensual experience. The surface is very matt and easily wiped clean. Being silicone means you can wash the Aria with no problem.

It’s also waterproof which means you can submerge it for cleaning. Being waterproof your brightly coloured little friend can accompany you into the bath or shower as well. Being small the Aria Luminance makes a great bath time buddy.

Ten Settings

Offering ten settings there is a great deal of choice when it comes to the vibrations in the Aria Luminance. The first five are steady vibrations of varying speeds followed by five patterns. To access these settings, you simply need to press the green button on the base. Pressing once switches the Aria Luminance on, press again to move through the settings and pressing and holding switches the Aria Luminance off.

My only real complaint here is there is no way to dial back the settings. If I’m using the fifth highest steady speed and it feels too much I must scroll through all five patterns before I can reselect a lower speed. This can be a bit jarring and break the mood.

The vibrations themselves are strong, buzzy but quite shallow. The Aria Luminance lacks rumble but there is a kick to its buzz. Whilst I found the vibrations surprisingly strong I also found there was a lot of transference into my hand whilst holding it. The Aria Luminance gives me tickly, numb fingers after a while.

So, what’s the Aria Luminance like to use? I started off by slicking a little water-based lube over the surface of the silky silicone shaft. Remember to only use water based lube with the Aria Luminance as silicone or hybrid lubes will damage the surface.

Strong Vibrations

Sliding the Aria Luminance inside me felt good, the girth felt more than it looked, possibly the waves on the shaft helped here. The length of the Aria Luminance fell a little short for me but thanks to the shorter shaft I could angle it down to push the head up towards my G Spot. Inside me the vibrations felt good, stronger than I’d expected if I’m honest and there was a good degree of travel throughout my abdomen.

Due to the smaller size of the Aria Luminance I knew I probably wasn’t going to achieve an internal orgasm with it, however, all is not lost. I was very aroused from the internal play so decided to press the Aria Luminance to my clit and see how this felt.

The vibrations felt strong against my clit, stronger than I was expecting. Because the Aria Luminance has 5 steady speeds it gave me room to climb and build the layers of pleasure. Stepping up a gear every time I needed a little more stimulation. Using the Aria Luminance in this way I was able to achieve a nice intense orgasm.

In Summary

I feel like the Aria Luminance would be perfect as a first vibrator or for someone new to sex toys. It’s a decent little vibe, with good strong vibrations and is excellent value for a silicone, water proof vibrator offering ten settings. It’s very attractive and comes in a range of gorgeous poppy acid bright colours. Peepshow Toys sell it in Lime Green, Plum Purple, Cerise Pink and Tangerine Orange.

I’d prefer the Aria Luminance to be rechargeable as I feel this is more convenient and offers a stronger vibration. Saying this the Aria Luminance has given me a solid delicious clitoral orgasm every time I’ve used it.

You can buy the Aria Luminance from Peepshow Toys for $27.99.
